I like the depth and the desaturated coloring. I'm not sure about the guns and the grenades and their tie-in with music --- but that could just be me. I also like the gridwork on the rightside fading away to the left and the left side containing most of the curves. It's a great design. Good work.
About the bomb's and guns etc, the indeed have less than nothing to do with music. But the background of the wall was inspired by the 'Audio Bullys', who have those elements returning in for example their album cover. Thanks for commenting by the way.

Thanks so much for pointing the mouth coloring out... :D I was completely oblivious to it; since I found some other mistakes I decided to fix it all up in one go, so that's fixed and upped :3

It's actually funny that you say that because my laptop resolution is 1280 by 800. I have a whole mess of wallpapers I've made specifically for my computer, but it's pretty difficult to find ones other people have made that fit well.
The original layout was just a manga scan from the Japanese (duh) FLCL. The original arrangement was simply more spaced out, and the "crazy sunshine" banner was vertical, off to the right hand side. Otherwise, it wasn't particularly different. Good luck finding wallpapers, resolution-kindered.

Umm, to tell you the truth, I don't really know how to make animated gifs, I had a friend on here make it for me, but Im pretty sure he used adobe imageready cs2. I know that that was one of the programs he used.
